NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING – LU Case 2026-01

The Wasco City Council will conduct a Public Hearing beginning at 6:30 p.m. on March 17, 2026, at Wasco City Hall, to consider (1) a comprehensive plan map and zone change from Commercial (C-1) to Residential (R-2), and (2) a conditional use review to allow either two duplexes, one triplex and one detached unit, or one fourplex on the 20,000 square foot site. The conditional use review is for the housing types alone. The allowed density will remain unchanged at one unit per 5,000 square feet. The site is identified on Sherman County Assessor tax maps as 01N17E09AB-4400, lots (9-12) with the address Davis and Mill St. / Scott St. Development is not proposed.
